TR Accuracy Update (2.2)

Updates to the following functionality have been released today;

New features

  • Benchmarking Report – An additional report will be generated for each file ingested. The report provides a summary of the industry reporting accuracy rates. The reporting firm can use this information to benchmark their reporting accuracy against the industry as a whole and their peers in a specific sector.
  • Configuration Management Portal – Web portal which enables users to manage and configure their Control Now services. The portal allows users to add new service users, manage their permissions, turn on/off validations, update the impact status of validations, add comments.
  • 5 additional MIs were released
    • Underlying Index Analysis
    • Buyer Seller Capacity MI
    • Decision Maker MI
    • Algos MI
    • GMT BST
  • Multiple file ingestion – the solution was updated to allow for multiple files to be ingested
  • DTCC ingestion module – A new module which enables the ingestion and processing of DTCC EMIR Trade State data.
  • 22 MiFIR Validations added
    • M181, M182, M183, M184, M185, M186 – NIND used with a disallowed prefix.
    • M187 – Invalid CFI Code Reported
    • M188 – Country of branch for the buyer not populated when it should have been
    • M189 – Country of branch for the seller not populated when it should have been.
    • M190 – MTCH Executing Entity = Buyer
    • M191 – MTCH Executing Entity = Seller
    • M193 – AOTC Executing Entity = Seller
    • M194 – Client buy order and transmission indicator
    • M195 – Client buy order and transmission indicator
    • M196 – Client sell order and transmission indicator
    • M197 – Client sell order and transmission indicator – DM
    • M198 – Discretionary mandate and transmission indicator – buy
    • M199 – Discretionary mandate and transmission indicator – sell

Feature updates / improvements

  • Improved user log-in authentication process.
  • System now filters out updated and cancelled transactions. (i.e. only latest transaction version is validated).
  • Optimised V+C EMIR MI generation.
  • 10 MiFIR Validations Updated
    • M162 Seller DM = buyer DM: Previously used to flag where both buyer and seller decision makers are blank.
    • M165 Invalid Instrument ID – check digit: Check digit logic was inaccurate
    • M166 Invalid Underlying ISIN – check digit: Check digit logic was inaccurate
    • M180 Inconsistent use of NP ID: The validation used to produce unexpected additional data lines
    • M123 Buyer NP unrecognised cc: Validation was incorrectly looking up national ids reference data instead of ISO 3166 country codes
    • M124 Buyer DM unrecognised cc: Validation was incorrectly looking up national ids reference data instead of ISO 3166 country codes
    • M125 Seller NP unrecognised cc: Validation was incorrectly looking up national ids reference data instead of ISO 3166 country codes
    • M126 Seller DM unrecognised cc: Validation was incorrectly looking up national ids reference data instead of ISO 3166 country codes
